Obituary

Phyllis R. (Fraster) Drector, 81 of Chelsea, beloved wife of Charles Drector entered into rest November 24, 2017. Born in Chelsea she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jennie (Berris) Fraster. Raised and educated in Chelsea a graduate of Chelsea High School class of 1953. She continued her education at the Boston Dispensary. She was employed as a lab technician at Tufts Medical Center and for 40 years prior to retirement worked in the development office at Boston University.
Phyllis was a member of Temple Emmanuel of Chelsea, a member of the YMHA where she volunteered at bingo, she volunteered for the City of Chelsea working at the polls and she also worked the bingo games at the Leonard Florence center in Chelsea. Besides her husband Phyllis is survived by her daughters Caren Drector of Marblehead, Stacy Drector of Chelsea, sister in laws Ruth Fraster & Marcia Fraster, nieces Beth Fraster & her husband Steve Folsom, Robin Fraster & her husband Alan Deutsch & great aunt to Jacob, Ella & Jordana. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Fraster. Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel 151 Washington Ave. Chelsea, Sunday Nov.26 at 10AM. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial gathering will be held at the home of Charles Drector following the burial from 1-6PM. Shiva will be held Monday at Charles Drector’s home from 2-8PM.
