Pauletta Martin Betts, 85, of Tifton passed peacefully from this life November 20, 2017. A private service and burial will be held for Mrs. Betts at a later date.
She was born in McMinnville, Tennessee, but moved to Sarasota, Florida as a child. She was a graduate of Sarasota High School and retired from Allstate Insurance Company. She was a member of the Seahorse Society, the Sarasota High Salties, the Red Hat Society, and the Beta Sigma Phi. Pauletta enjoyed traveling, club luncheons, her family, baking, and her close-knit neighborhood friendships. Most especially she loved her cats. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael A Betts, and one granddaughter, Lindsey Betts.
Mrs. Betts is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Davy Betts (Debbie), Tom Betts (Gianina); one daughter, Sue Trammell; an honorary daughter and her husband, Kristi Bowman (Jeff); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her loving cat Shadow.
