Mr. Alfred J. Lambert, of Taunton, passed away on November 13, 2017 at Morton Hospital. Alfred lived in Taunton his entire life. He was born 74 years ago, the son of the late Hilaire and blanche (Martin) Lambert. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a foreman for a local blacktop company. Alfred enjoyed working in his yard and loved visiting New Hampshire where he would hike through the mountains.
He leaves: 1 son: David Scott Lambert of Virginia; 3 brothers: Lawrence, Raymond and Leo Lambert, all of Taunton; 2 sisters: Madeline Bevis of Taunton and Joanne Fuchs of Attleboro. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Sue Bennett of Middleboro. Alfred was also the father of the late Alfred Lambert, Jr., and the brother of the late Norman Lambert.
Visiting Hours will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, November 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. A Prayer Service will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
