Ina “Irene” (Grabeel) Shanks, 93, passed away Sunday November 19, 2017 at Wesley Manor. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, she was a homemaker and member of Beechland Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Shanks.
She is survived by her son, David Shanks (Jenny); daughter, Peggy Worth (Gary); her sisters, Mary Cook and Wilda Sorenson; granddaughter, Crystal; and great-grandchildren, Wesley and Gabriel.
Her funeral will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 am till 1pm funeral time on Wednesday.
