Obituary

SOMERSET…Mary “Margie” (Pinkos) Botelho, 88, of Somerset passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home.
She was the widow of Roger C. Botelho, Sr. to whom she was married for 56 years.
Born in Taunton, she was a daughter of the late Sobeck and Katherine (Twarog) Pinkos.
Mrs. Botelho was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church in Somerset where she was a member of the Women’s Guild and the Retirees Club. She was also a member of the SE Mass. German Club and worked as a Sewing Machine Operator in the local Textile Industry for many years until her retirement. Above everything else in her life, her family was always the most important.
Survivors include her children; Roger C. Botelho, Jr. of Westport, Katherine G. Givens of Swansea, and Bruce A. Botelho of Antrim, NH, 5 grandchildren; Jamie, Jeffrey, Jenna, Bryan and Robyn, 4 great grandchildren; Payton, Morgan, Mia and Jaxson, several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Stanley Pinkos, John Pinkos, Ellen Drapeau, Anna Comstock and Leo Pinkos.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 8:30 AM from the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway, Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Thomas Moore Church, Luther Ave. Somerset. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. While flowers are welcome, donations in Margie’s name can also be made to St. Thomas More Church for their Organ Fund.
