…Vietnam Veteran; area chef; 67
Tewksbury - Mr. Robert Edward “Bob” Mores, age 67, a Vietnam War Veteran and lifelong Tewksbury resident, died unexpectedly at his Tewksbury home from an apparent heart attack on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 16. He was born in Tewksbury on November 25, 1949, a son of the late Robert C. and Ruth (Sheehy) Mores, and had lived in town his entire life.
Bob enlisted into the Army during the Vietnam War, and served with pride and honor in Vietnam. He earned the Rifle Sharpshooter, National Defense, Vietnam Service, and Vietnam Campaign Medals and a Meritorious Unit Citation.
Upon discharge, he worked for William Sign Erections as his first job and in many area kitchens including a long engagement at Jimmy’s On The Mall in Burlington.
Bob had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, and enjoyed lake fishing throughout the Northeast from his bass boat, and sport shooting from his collection of current and antique guns.
He leaves his spouse, Donna M. Connors and her children, Lisa Connors of Lawrence and Karen Connors of Hudson, NH; grandchildren, Darien and Elena; and his brother, David C. Mores of Hudson, NH, and many friends.
Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Committal at Tewksbury Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the E.N. Rogers V.A.
