Sherry Ann White, 64, of Heard County, Georgia, died Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange in LaGrange, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1PM until 2PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. White was born August 15, 1953, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Eugene Columbus & Margaret Louise Fitzgerald Truelove. She moved to Heard County, Georgia from Kentucky in 1987 and was a homemaker. Mrs. White enjoyed fishing, hummingbirds and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Derrell White of Heard County; children: Henry Derrell “Hank” White, Jr. & his wife Patsy of Cordele, Wallace Eugene White of Hogansville, Allison Patrice White of Hogansville and Constance DelLane “Connie” Horn of Irwin County; fourteen grandchildren: Ashley Nicole White, Henry Derrell White, III, Katie Rae Byrd, Bridgett Marie Byrd, Audrey Leigh White, Charles Dautry White, Brandon Joseph White, Brent White, Cameron White, Kacie Bailey White, Alexus Neal, Kaylee Madison Neal, Michael Horn and Katelyn Horn; one great-grandchild, Brayden White; one brother, Glen Lambert & his wife Dana of Fitzgerald and a sister, Melissa Taylor of Fitzgerald.
