Michael Carr, age 56, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2017. He was the son of the late Louis and Vilma (Monaco) Carr. When Michael attended BMC Durfee High School he was an accomplished wrestler, who later became a veteran of the United States Navy, and a manager for Southwest Airlines in California, Detroit, Las Vegas and Providence. He was in the show Airlines on A&E. Michael also loved to travel the world and was truly the happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings; Joseph, James, Vincent Carr and his Irish twin Lucy Murphy, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Thomas, Louis and Jon Carr.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Monday with extended calling hours from 9:30-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard’s Church, Assonet at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
