Obituary

Ludwig W. Becker, Jr., 69, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of November 15, 2017 at his home.
Lou was born on January 4, 1948 in Flushing, NY, the son of the late Ludwig and Marie (Schoenberger) Becker Sr. Lou was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was an entrepreneur, owning multiple cafes, a greeting card shop, and convenient store. He was most famous for his blueberry muffins at the Macy’s Café in Bedford, NH. Lou made sure all his customers left with a smile and a satisfied appetite. Being an avid NY Yankees fan, he loved to banter with his family members who were Boston Red Sox fans.
Lou is predeceased by his sister Anita Parsons.
He is survived by his three daughters and sons-in-laws, Irene and Greg Denoncourt of Manchester, NH, Donna Dean of Masonville, NY and Kimberly and Jeffrey Lencki of Goffstown, NH; son and daughter-in-law, Ludwig and Sara Becker III, of Goffstown, NH. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, brother-in-law, two nieces and several cousins.
An intimate service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home Cremation Services, 110 Bridge St., Manchester NH 03101.
