Norman L. Iverson 86, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Whitman, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 13 at the Lifecare Center of West Bridgewater.
Born in Bridgeport, CT he was the third son of the late Mildred and Arthur Iverson.
He had proudly served in the United States Marine Corp in the Korean War and was married to the love of his life Mille for sixty-three years.
He was devoted to and leaves behind his wife Millie of East Bridgewater, son Mark Iverson of Whitman and two daughters Lynn MacKay of Whitman and Cathy Mallinson of Cumberland, RI as well as four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service to be held Saturday November 18 at 1:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00AM – 1:00PM.
