After retirement she developed a love for flower gardening and time in her yard. She also loved weekend trips to Maine with the love of her life and rides in their new corvette.

During this last nine years there have been more than 300 day trips first to, Women and Infants Hospital in RI and the last seven years to MGH in Boston. This included 93 chemotherapy treatments. Her husband Robert was her primary caregiver but special thanks to three very special friends who assisted with many trips to Boston.
