Mary Ann Stuart Chandler, 88, of Tifton passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, at Cook Senior Living Center in Adel. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Chandler at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Glenn Ford and the Rev. Danny Roysden will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, November 17, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born January 3, 1929 in Fitzgerald, Mrs. Chandler was the daughter of the late George Lester Stuart and Effie Odessa Slade Stuart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Haskins Chandler; one brother, Jack Wayne Stuart; and one sister, Sandra Stuart Cato. She was a homemaker and was always smiling. She loved to talk to people and enjoyed gardening and being with family.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by one daughter, Cindy Chandler Childers of Tifton; one son, Robert Stuart Chandler of Tifton; one grandson and his wife, Clay Bryant Childers and Kayla; and four great-grandchildren, Jaden, Ashton, Paxton and Adalyn.
