In East Bridgewater, Dewey James Henderson, Age 65, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at Sachem Rehabilitation Center in East Bridgewater, MA, following a lengthy illness. Dewey was born in Taunton, the son of Eleanor (McGinn) and his late father Everett Henderson. Dewey attended Taunton schools and MA College of Pharmacy in Boston. A lifelong resident, he held several jobs over the years, most recently at Shaw’s Supermarket in Raynham. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, Dewey is survived by his siblings, E. Steven and his wife Judy of Roslindale, Scott and his wife Michelle of Middleboro, his sister in law Paula Porter of North Providence, RI. He was preceded in death by brothers Gary and Paul Henderson. Dewey also leaves his nephews Gerry Ramsey, Erik and Craig Henderson and his niece Stephanie Henderson and two great nephews and one great niece. Arrangements are under care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA. Services are private at the request of the family.
