BUXTON- Louis Herbert Emery, age 88, passed away on Nov. 3, 2017 at his home in Buxton.
He was born in Buxton on March 26, 1929, a son of the late Henry and Doris (Keaton) Emery.
He was a member of St. Anne’s Church in Gorham and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife Lucille (Amnott) Emery; a brother- Bruce; fifteen children; thirty-five grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Nov. 7, from 5 – 8 PM at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, 299 Main St., in Gorham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday morning Nov. 8 at 11 AM at St. Anne’s Church. Burial will follow at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery.
