Obituary

Shelley A. (Faulling) Zimmerman, 64, of Lynn and formerly of Salem, passed away Friday, with her family by her side at the Blueberry Hill Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beverly following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of Charles R. Zimmerman with whom she shared nearly 20 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of Theresa (Lemlin) Faulling of Salem and the late Lawrence M. Faulling. A graduate of Salem High, Shelley began working as an administrative assistant for the Imperial Construction Co. of Malden forty years ago, a job which morphed into an onsite project manager and in some instances construction worker for the company founded by her husband.
She retired due to her failing health.

In addition to her husband Charles and mother Theresa, she is survived by two step-daughters, Karen L. Janeiro and her husband Joseph of Melrose, Deborah E. Marchant of Haverhill, two step-sons, Raymond M. Zimmerman & Ronald F. Zimmerman, both of Malden, a brother, Lawrence M. “Buster” Faulling, Jr. of Lynn, three sisters, Florence S. Russell,, Karen R. and Robin T. Faulling all of Salem. She also leaves ten step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for her funeral on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 9:45 AM at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem , to be followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Pius the Fifth Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
