Obituary

William J. “Bill” LeBlanc, a life-long resident of Medford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 27th at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was 83.

Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Harold and Della (Cotreau) LeBlanc. Bill graduated from Medford High School with the class of 1954. He and his wife, Jacqueline, married on September 19, 1954 in St. Joseph Church, Medford. Together they built their family with love and devotion. Bill worked as a machinist and retired from H.P. Hood. He was a proud member of the Medford Red Skins and enjoyed spending time with his family. Bill was always punctual and enjoyed traveling. His favorite place to visit was New Hampshire.

Bill was the beloved husband of Jacqueline (Vinagro) LeBlanc, with whom he shared 63 loving years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Deborah Koval and her husband John of Nashua, New Hampshire, Cheryl Monahan and her husband James, Donna Messina and her husband Philip, all of Medford, William "B.J." LeBlanc and his wife Deborah of Alton Bay, New Hampshire. Bill was the loving grandfather of Phil "Buddy", Michelle, Jimmy, Jacqueline, Mike, Joey and Steven, and the loving great grandfather of William and Elizabeth. He was the dear brother of Janice Laughlin and her husband William of Malden, and the late Donald LeBlanc.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Tuesday, October 31st at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 through 8PM. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
