Doris E. Ernst, 91, passed away on October 19, 2017, at her home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 1/2 years, Willard Ernst.
She was a member of St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and Friendship Club, loved Bingo, and being a Destin Snowbird.
She is survived by two daughters, Gayle and Kathy Ernst, three sons, Dave (Sandy), Steve (Kathy), and Mike (Marcie); she is also survived by four granddaughters, Lori Ebel (Eric), Julie Bealmear (Jon), Megan Tipton (Gregory), and Erin Ernst; and six great-grandchildren, Parker
Howerton, Tyler Bealmear, Chloe Bealmear, Jackson Ebel, Grayson Ebel, and Maria Tipton, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation is at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with her funeral mass at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:00 am; with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
