Jean Marie Shaffer of Medford died on Wednesday, October 18 at the Life Care Center of Stoneham. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Muriel (Crossman) Shaffer.
Jean was the cherished sister of Edwin Shaffer of Littleton and his late wife Mildred, and Robert Shaffer and his wife Catherine of Revere. She was the dear friend of the late Adeline "Chickie" Rocci and John Rocci, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, October 23 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9:30 AM through 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
