Natale S. Bonugli, age 70, of Somerville formerly of Lexington and Medford passed away peacefully, October 18, 2017, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 70 years of age. He was the beloved husband of Ann Marie (Mello) Bonugli. Born in Fosciandora, Lucca, Italy, he was the son of the late Bernardo S. and Celeste (Santini) Bonugli.
Nino, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, Came to the United States in 1968. He was a talented craftsman and work for over 40 years as a cement mason. He was a proud member of the Cement Masons Union local 534. In his leisure time Nino enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid trout fisherman. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, dear friends and coworkers.
In addition to his wife, Nino is survived by his children; Nicholas S. Bonugli and his wife Jennifer of Middleton, Natasha Bonugli and her fiancé Aaron Treyvaud of London, UK. He was the loving Nonno of Arianna Bonugli. He is also survived by his cherished sister, Katia Santini and her husband George of Medford and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday, October 25th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
