FALL RIVER – Vivian Marie (Moniz) Couto, age 63, originally of Somerset, passed away after battling a lengthy illness on October 13, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco R. do Couto. Born in Providence, RI., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Burrows) Moniz. Vivian had worked as a cashier for Lumber Liquidators.
Vivian leaves behind her children: Robert S. Tappen, Jr. of CA, Randall S. Tappen of Tiverton, RI. and Robin Viveiros of Fall River; siblings: Debbie Bagao, Frank and Steve Moniz. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 grandchild, 5 nieces and nephews, 2 step-children and 4 step-grandchildren.
Following cremation a graveside service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset. Arrangements were under the direction of Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River. www.rogersfuneral.com.
