Winchell, Janice Cecilia (Payne), 79, of Louisville passed away Monday, October, 16, 2017 at Essex Nursing Home.
Janice was a native of Meade Co., KY and had retired from the Census Bureau.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lee Winchell; three sons, Wayne, Kent and Darren; two sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include her son, Chad Winchell (Dawn); a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Winchell; two sisters, Barbara Taylor and Mary Adkins; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday.
