Maria Mancaniello, of Lynn, Formerly of Medford and Malden passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 14th 2017. She was 70 years old.
Maria was born in Melito, Italy and was the daughter of the late Prisco and Carmela (Abbundanza) DiFlumeri.
Mrs. Mancaniello was a longtime bank officer currently with Salem Five bank in Malden, Ma.
Most of all, she was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and friend who loved spending time outdoors tending to her garden,
Maria was the wife of the late Ciro Mancaniello. She was the beloved mother of Josephine Christopoulos of Salem and her late husband Peter, Libearto Mancaniello and his wife Jennifer, and Prisco Mancaniello both of Lynn, Paul Mancaniello and his wife Stacy of North Andover and Bruno Mancaniello and his wife Lori of Peabody. Maria was the cherished grandmother of Antonia, Staci and Leo Christopoulos, Emily, Aaron, Gianna, Alexa, Jack, Lily and Ryan Mancaniello.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday October 19th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
