Obituary

Mr. Raymond W. Carreaux, 85, of Plymouth, N.H., and formerly of Taunton, Ma., passed away October 14, 2017 at home, peacefully after a short illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jacqueline (Fluette) Carreaux. Raymond was born in Fall River, Ma. on January 23, 1932, and was educated in Taunton, Ma., graduating from the former Msgr. James Coyle High School. After working at Texas Instruments for 35 years, he retired to New Hampshire and worked part time at Shop and Save for 12 more years. He enjoyed camping, hiking, birding, golfing and watching movies and sports. He was also a volunteer at Spear Memorial Hospital, Quincy Bog Natural Area, N.H. Audubon Society, and Plymouth Region Senior Center, delivering meals on wheels. Raymond was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Plymouth and the former St. Jacques Parish in Taunton.

In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 daughter: Jeanne, and her husband David and grandchildren David and Matthew. He is also survived by his son, Norman and his wife, Betty and grandchildren Michael, Melissa and Christopher.

Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Friday, October 20 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
