FALL RIVER… Melissa (Ferreira) Febres, 45, of Fall River passed away October 3, 2017 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
She was the wife of Benjamin Febres of Fall River.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Maryann (Pacheco) Gabbour of Somerset and the late Thomas J. Ferreira, Jr. She had been a lifelong resident of Fall River.
Mrs. Febres enjoyed playing Bingo & Dominos, reading books, watching movies, of which she was a huge fan of the Twilight Saga, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Along with her husband and mother, survivors include her daughters; Jessica M. Ferreira of Fall River, & Harley M. Marshall of Bristol, RI, her sons; Nathan R. Ayers & Jonathan D. Alves, both of Fall River, her step-daughters; Kiainetsy M. Febres of FL & Jetsayra Rodriguez of Fall River, her step-son, Jatnel I. Febres of Fall River, 3 granddaughters; Falysha-Lynn Ayers, Emma-Lee Ayers & Giana E. Ferreira, her paternal grandmother, Shirley Ferreira of FL, and her brother Jason Ferreira of Fall River.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 7:45 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Memorial visitation will be Tuesday from 5 - 7:45 PM, prior to the service.
