Obituary

Kevin N. Cotnoir, 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, surrounded by his loving wife and family members. Kevin leaves his wife, Carol, who he lived life to the fullest in their brief marriage of 5 years. He leaves his step-son, Wesley Aggrey, of Fitchburg, and step-daughter, Kelsey Aggrey of Fitchburg. Kevin grew up in Fitchburg, MA and loved music, playing guitar, concerts, family vacations in Maine and the beach. He enjoyed Star Wars movies, game nights with family and friends but most of all the time he spent with his wife. Kevin loved spending special time with his Dad, and many lunches together with him and his sister, Carol. He never missed opportunities to go on trips that his job, Haartz Corporation offered, to include the Medieval Manor, Foxwoods, Dinner Cruises, New York trips, Blue Man group and plays. Kevin worked for the Haartz Corporation in Acton as a color matcher for the last 10 years, where he will be sadly missed by all his friends who had the chance to get to know him. He also worked at Vogue Wallcoverings in Fitchburg, Digital Equipment Corporation and Circuit City, Leominster, MA where he met his wife. Kevin was a member of the Order Sons of Italy Fitchburg Lodge #169 and attended New Life Church, in Leominster, and Crossroads Community Church, Fitchburg, MA. Kevin was a loving man that cared more about others than he did himself and that was evident in his everyday life. He had an amazing sense of humor, was never seen without a big smile, and had even a bigger heart. Mr. Cotnoir was pre-deceased by his mother Rita (Comeau) Cotnoir, and two brothers James Cotnoir and Wayne Cotnoir. He is survived by his father Clement Cotnoir of Fitchburg, one brother; David Cotnoir and his wife Nancy of Methuen, one sister; Carol and her husband Donald Hunt of Fitchburg and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him especially by his “princess” who’s heart is broken by the loss of her gentle and caring husband. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aggrey Educational Fund, through IC Credit Union; for Kevin’s step-children, Wesley and Kelsey.
