Obituary

Charles William "Bill" Cooper, Jr. 71, of Anderson died October 11, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born November 4, 1945 in Anderson the son of Charles W. and Jane Ann (Stansberry) Cooper.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and then served in the Army National Guard. He was employed at Delco Remy for 31 years. He enjoyed wood crafts and traveling to craft shows.
Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia J. (Day) Cooper of Anderson; three sons, Bill Cooper, Jeff Cooper and Mike (Carrie) Cooper; two step-sons, Larry Friggle and Scott (Kathy) Friggle; sister, Becky (Fred) Fenimore; nine grandchildren, 1 great grandson, two nieces and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Brent Cooper.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery with Military graveside rites.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or American Kidney Foundation.
