Kenneth W. Verlaque, Jr., 42, of Indian Run Trail, Smithfield died Sunday at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Providence, a son of Shirley A. (Collins) Watson and the late Kenneth W. Verlaque, Sr. He had lived in Smithfield for 3 years previously living in Johnston. He had been an auto mechanic with the former Smithfield Imports and L'Europa Auto Repair before the onset of cancer.
He loved fast cars , riding dirt bikes, and fishing.
Besides his mother he leaves his stepfather Ronald E. Watson, sisters Melanie M. Verlaque and Shana M. Watson of Smithfield, and stepbrother Jason Watson of Pawtucket.
A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held Sunday Oct 15th from 10am at the Portuguese American Club, 32 Fenwood Avenue, Smithfield.
