Rita (Killeen) Byrne, age 92, of Westford, formerly of Natick, died on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the Bridges Assisted Living, in Westford.
Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Theresa (Lydon) Killeen. Rita grew up in Natick was a lifelong resident. She was a former President of the Emblem Club.
Rita was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Byrne; devoted mother of Rosemary Theroux & her husband Paul of Westford, Paul Byrne & his wife Ilsa of Brazil and Gary Byrne & his wife Annamaria of FL; loving grandmother of Timothy Theroux, Todd Theroux, Tara Theroux and great-grandmother of Isabella, Logan, Carter and Raegan Theroux; and dear sister of the late Helen, May, Dorothy and Marie.
Visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 3:00-7:00 PM.
Funeral services at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, NATICK COMMON, on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 9:00 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian of burial at Saint Patrick's Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00 AM.
Interment services will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick.
