Hartley Allen Bither, 100, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Camarillo. He was born in Oxnard to Hartley S. and Ruth Bither and raised on the Perkins Rancho Los Posas in Camarillo. He graduated from Oxnard High School and was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army. He retired from a civil service position at Pt. Mugu in 1979. Hartley is survived by children Janice Patterson, Annelyse San Martin, and David Bither, grandchildren Justin & Joshua Patterson, Sarah, Jenny (Riste) & Josh San Martin, and Luci & Riley Beerworth, great-grandchildren, Paxton San Martin and Cullen Riste. Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service to be held with Military Honors Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1pm in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
