WEBSTER – Annette L. (Dansereau) Szostakowski, 97, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at home. Her husband, Michael F. Szostakowski, died in 1963.
She leaves a son, Michael A. Szostakowski and his wife Pamela A. Szostakowski of Nahant; 3 grandchildren, Justin P. Szostakowski of Oxford, Lori A. Szostakowski of Danielson, CT and Jon M. Szostakowski of Danvers; 3 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Reese and Christina; a sister, Natalie Rana of Florida; and many nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul F. Szostakowski who died on May 27, 2017.
She was born and raised in Webster, a daughter of Arthur and Josephine (Barbour) Dansereau.
Mrs. Szostakowski was a piece worker at Sandlerette Shoe. She then worked as a tour guide at Cranston Print Works until retirement.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She made many quilts, besides knitting she enjoyed crocheting playing cards and swimming at the YMCA.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 14, at 10:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
