Alfredo Tiberi of Medford died on Saturday, October 7, at the Medford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born on November 26, 1930 in Introdaqua, Italy, he married his childhood sweetheart, Maria (DiMeo) Tiberi, in 1950. After moving to Medford, Alfredo began working for Barr & Barr Builders in many positions over the span of 62 years, eventually becoming Sr. Vice President for the Boston office. The majority of his career was spent on multiple projects at Tufts Medical Complex in Boston.
Alfredo loved his time working on projects around the home, and spending time in Naples, Fla. He was a wonderful storyteller and enjoyed his many friends and family.
Alfredo was the devoted father of Lisa Dawley and her husband Bill of Medford, Alfred Tiberi of Quincy, and Domenic Tiberi and his wife Joyce of Duxbury. He was the loving grandfather of Ava Dawley, Jeffrey Tiberi, and Brett Tiberi and his wife Carrie, all of Medford, and brother of Ivan Tiberi and his wife Imelda of Quincy. Alfredo is also survived by his nephew Ron Tiberi and his niece Rosemary Jarvis.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, October 14 at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Friday, October 13, from 4 through 8 PM.
