Louise (Dimitri) Cotto, 92, July 30, 1925 - Oct. 7, 2017, Chatham, Ma., Louise passed peacefully at the Liberty Commons care facility in Chatham. She Was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Michael Cotto in 2016; her parents, James and Eva (Pali) Dimitri; a Brother, Alex Dimitri and sisters Flora Elia and Mary Grandoni.
She is survived by her 4 children, Dana of Westboro and his significant other Eileen, Dennis and his wife Karen of Centerville, Sharon Ellis and her husband Carl of Ft. Lauderdale and Michael and his wife Kim of Mashpee, 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandsons. Also many nieces and nephews.
Louise was born in Natick, attended Natick Public Schools and resided there until 1962 when the family moved to Cape Cod. She was the co-owner of The Great Island Deli&Bakery, W.Yarmouth, the W. Dennis Deli and the Quarterdeck Lounge in Hyannis. Louise loved her role as the "Social Director" and truly enjoyed her interactions with the countless number of customers.
Louise enjoyed traveling and a special trip to Greece with cousins and friends was the highlight of her travels. She was also a avid reader and shopper and for many years, she served as a volunteer at the Mayflower long term care facility in W. Yarmouth , where she worked closely with elderly residents.
Most of all, Louise loved being with her family and she will be missed by all who loved her.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Liberty Commons for providing their Mother with the highest possible level of care.
Her Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 12th at 11:00 A.M in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery Natick.
Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
