Ferdinando Pasquale of Somerville died on Friday, October 6, at Winchester Hospital. Born and raised in Prezza, Abruzzo, Italy, he was the son of the late Gabriele and Domenica (Sandonato) Pasquale. Ferdinando served in World War II before coming to the U.S and settling in Somerville.
Ferdinando was the beloved husband of the late Maria Pasquale, and the devoted father of Gabriel Pasquale and his wife Angela of Reading, and the late Domenic Pasquale. He was the loving grandfather of Gabriel Pasquale Jr. of Medford, Jennifer Pasquale O'Donnell and her husband John of Melrose, and Greg Tocco and his wife Georgana of Saugus. Ferdinando was the loving great grandfather of Lige Tocco and Vivienne O'Donnell, and brother of the late Donatella and Filomena. He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, October 11 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Visiting hours Tuesday, October 10 from 4 through 8 PM.
