Fall River – Eleanor G. Piva, age 96 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Crawford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fall River. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Piva and the daughter of the late Helen (Frates) and Manuel Duport.
She was born in New Bedford and lived here for most of her life. She worked as a Cashier at CVS Pharmacyfor many years until her retirement..
She is survived by her 2 sons:Paul A. Piva of Westport and Philip R. Piva of Sagamore; as well as 4 grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren,1 niece and 2 nephews. She was also the mother of the late Dr. Gerald R. Piva.
Eleanor will be cremated a burial of her ashes will take place at a later date.
