Evelyn Marie (Seavey) Black, age 86, of Natick, died on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Natick.
Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Stella (MacNeil) Seavey. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Natick, a graduate of Natick High School, Class of 1949. She worked at BOSE, Fairbanks and retired from Fair & Yeager Insurance Company. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, vacationing in the White Mountains and on Cape Cod, listening to music, drawing, anything involving the color BLUE, tasting sweets and reading anything of interest.
Evelyn was the beloved wife for 64 years to Bob Black; devoted mother of John Black of Oxford, Jim Black of Natick and Cindy Maguire & her husband Paul of Natick; loving grandmother of Jillian, Jennifer and Jonna Black, Shelby and Spencer Black, Collin Maguire and Camryn Leiser and dear sister of the late Harry Seavey.
Visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Monday, October 9, 2017, from 3:00-7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, NATICK COMMON, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 10:00 AM.
Interment services will follow at the Dell Park Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick.
