Alice E. DeLage, 91

Dateline: North Attleboro, MA

Alice E. (Cavallo) DeLage, age 91, of North Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Raynham.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond N. DeLage, Sr., to whom she was wed for forty-one years at the time of his death on May 16, 1988.

Born in Attleboro, MA on December 21, 1925, she was a loving daughter of the late James and Mary (Defelice) Cavallo.

Alice grew up and was educated in Mansfield. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, and had also been employed at Swank, Inc., at Lowney’s, and later when it became the Mansfield Chocolate Factory.

A resident of North Attleboro for the past twenty years, Alice was a former longtime resident of Mansfield. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, trips taken to area casinos, and playing bingo and card games.

She is survived by her devoted children Sandra A. Cook and her husband George of Texas, Sylvio Bravetti of Washington State, Kenneth T. Bravetti and his wife Margaret of Attleboro, Edmond N. DeLage and his wife Nancy of Attleboro and Elizabeth DeLage of Mansfield. She was dear sister of the late Rocky Cavallo, Rose Bruno and Margaret Fico. She is also survived by her cherished 15 grandchildren, as well as many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, October 9th at 10:15 A.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

Those wishing may join the funeral procession on Monday morning at 8:45 A.M. departing from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
