Julian J. Turner Sr. passed away peacefully on October 3, 2017. He was 78 years old.
Julian was a longtime resident of Malden and a United States Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the Metropolitan District Commission as a compliance officer and was a longtime member and past post commander of the American Legion, Post 69 in Malden.
Julian was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Dicks) Turner. He was the loving father of Tammy Turner of Hyde Park, Julian J. Turner Jr. and his wife Kirsten of Mattapan, Michelle Turner of Roxbury, Anthony Turner of Lynn and Stepfather of Wayne Dicks of Lynn, Richard Dicks, Patricia Dicks, and Eddie Dicks all of Malden. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 1 grandchild, 10 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday October 10th from 9:00am-11:00am followed by interment in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
