Margaret F. Koelsch (Todesca) age 91 of Canton passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 2nd. Born and raised in Boston, Margaret attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from St. Teresa’s High School and the Boston Business School. She has lived in Canton for over 66 years where she was an active parishioner at St. Gerard Majella Church serving as Eucharistic Minister. Mrs. Koelsch was a volunteer at the Canton Town Hall. She loved water color painting, gardening, cooking and especially spending time with her family. Loving mother of Susan Lyons and her husband Richard of Charleston, S.C., Robert Koelsch and his wife Judith of Hingham, Denise Koelsch and her husband Dominic of Beverly, Richard Koelsch and his wife Beverly of Wareham, Gregory Koelsch and his wife Maureen of Stoughton, Yvonne Koelsch-Brown and her husband William of Canton, Gerard Koelsch of Franklin and the late Helene and Roland Koelsch, Jr. Also survived by her former husband Roland C. Koelsch and 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of Betty Lydon of Manomet and Pat Hunnefeld and her husband Joseph of Hingham. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Saturday morning at 10:00. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
