Obituary

Silver Lake, NH---David A. Martin, 75, long time resident of the Mount Washington Valley died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Lakes Region General Hospital.

David was born on September 7, 1942 in Worcester, MA the son of the late Edward Martin and Kathryn Nolan. David grew up in Arlington, MA . He attended the Hardy Elementary School, East Junior High School, and Arlington High School. David was a gifted football player; he played for Arlington High School and then played on a scholarship at the collegiate level. David also played at the semi-pro level for the South Boston Chippewa’s.

David owned and operated David A. Martin Flooring for thirty years. He also worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, a Massage Therapist, and a Reiki Master. David had a passion for riding his motorcycle. He was also proud to have been a grateful AA member of 36 years of sobriety.

David is survived by his beloved partner of more than 8 years, Jane Cresswell; a daughter, Dina Warwick and her husband, Chris and their children Christopher and Morgan; a daughter Kathryn Martin and a son, Matthew Martin. He is also survived by long time friends, George and Victoria Murphy. David was predeceased by his parents.

There will be no services.
