Adolfo Moreira Lopes Semedo (52) of Fall River died September 26th in Saint Anne's Hospital, Fall River. He was the loving husband of Gisela M. (Mendes) Semedo.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde son of the late Maria DeLuc Fonseca and Cesario Semedo of Brockton. He was a body shop mechanic working for Globe Auto Sales in Fall River. He enjoyed listening to music and playing tennis.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by 3 sons, Genilson, Ricky and Romario, 2 daughters, Debe and Cateza, a grandson, 6 brothers, Amilton, Anilton, Ze, Carlos Mario, Arlindo and Fernado Semedo, 9 sisters, Angela, Anamaria, Oslia, Osvaldena, Maria Alves, Seleda, Nelida, Elizangela and Odete Evora.
Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Monday October 2nd at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church Brockton at 9 am. Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation Sunday October 1st from 5-9 pm.
