Theresa M Richards, 87, of Worcester passed away on Monday September 18, 2017 in St. Mary Health Care, 39 Queen St. She is survived by a niece Linda Palmer Baniukiewicz and her husband Ted of Worcester; nephews, John W. Palmer and his wife Cathy of Rumford, Maine and Paul A. Palmer and his wife Cindy of Sutton; a step sister, Jody Flagg of Turner, Maine, and several grand nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Catherine Palmer and her husband John. She was born in Mexico, Maine a daughter of Joseph and Alice (Touchette) Hickey.
Theresa was a machine operator for fourteen years at Presmet Co., prior to retiring. Known as the “cool” aunt to nieces and nephews, she was an independent, feisty woman who was entertaining and loved. She enjoyed her family card games, coffee and her pets, Bridget, Mitzi and Charlie. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Mary’s for their care, kindness and attention to their aunt. Services are private.
