Obituary

Nancianne (Polo) Cosgrove, 71, of Franklin, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Chelsea on February 13, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Nancy (Lombardo) Polo.

Nancy was a resident of Franklin since 2001 and had formerly resided in Medway since 1978. She grew up in West Roxbury and graduated from Roslindale High School.

Before her retirement, she worked at the cosmetic counter at Macy’s Department Store in Natick for 22 years.

Nancy loved her gardens and flowers, and had a sharp wit about her. She cherished time spent around the dining room table with her beloved family, some Italian food, and a glass of red wine.

She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Hollander and her husband Eric of Franklin, Susan Yeomans and her husband Scott of Bridgewater and Deanna Pinkham and her husband Tyrone of Medway and eleven grandchildren, Arielle and her husband Trevor, Alexandra, Eric, Angela, Anthony, Anna, Natalie, Cassi, Ronan, Troy and Brooks.

She is also survived by her brother James Polo and his wife Gerri of Walpole and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Tuesday, September 26 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway at a later date.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 - 8 p.m.
