Obituary

Cheryl Ann (Fraser) Terpstra, 57 of Walpole passed away peacefully at her home in Walpole, surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Timothy Terpstra for 34 years.

Born on September 25, 1959 in Norwood, MA , she was a daughter of Isabelle (Hurd) Gingras and the late Edwin Fraser. Cheryl was a lifelong Walpole resident and graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1978.

Mrs. Terpstra worked as a Special Needs Counselor at the Charles River Center in Needham for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, baking, snowmobiling and having a good time with her friends and family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Kerry Terpstra of Worcester and Emily Terpstra of Walpole; her brother Edwin Fraser and his wife Gina of Walpole and her sister Debbie Cunniff and her husband Paul of Walpole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews.
She was the sister of the late Barbara Urquhart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday, September 21 from 4-7pm in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street, Walpole. A brief prayer service will take place at 7pm. Burial will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
