SOMERSET – Anne E. (Bailey) Connearney, age 92 of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, Sep. 17, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Connearney and the daughter of the late John and Anna (Waldron) Bailey.
Prior to retiring, Anne worked in the business office for Lockhart Insurance Co. and during her retirement, she worked in the bakery dept. for the former Grand Central Market in Somerset. She was a longtime member of the Montaup Country Club, enjoyed wintering in Florida, spending time at Horseneck Beach, and loved to read.
She is survived by her children: Lawrence Connearney of Louisville, KY, Brendan Connearney (wife Catherine) of Fall River, Anne Marie Oliveira of Somerset, Mary Beth Kleinberger of Fall River; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late James P. & Martin Connearney and the sister of the late Eileen Driscoll, David & John Bailey.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
