Obituary

Mario R. Valenzuela, 32 years old when he went to be with his Lord on September 8, 2017. He is the beloved son of Stephanie Dualsky of South Easton, MA. We know he will continue to watch over his sisters, Danielle Valenzuela-Senchak and her husband Max Senchak, of Santa Monica, California, Anna Valenzuela of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, his three aunts, Martha "Tia" Bartell and her husband Michael Bartell, of Florida, Joanne Dualsky, of Florida, Susan Ortolano and her husband Joseph Ortolano, of New York, his grandmother, Alma Dualsky, of Florida, his precious girlfriend, Ashley Kosman, of Rhode Island, his favorite kitty, Minna, of South Easton, MA and playful dog, Leah, of Rhode Island.

Mario was an avid fisherman from the time he first fished with his grandfather as a small child and continued that enjoyment throughout his life. He would always be the one who caught the most and there was no body of water he didn't fish.

He took pride in his tattoos and the significance of each one, adding heartfelt and faith-filled artwork to his body. A prayer card in his memory carries the Bible verse from 1 John 4:7-8 which is inscribed on his left forearm.

He was a dedicated and passionate bodybuilder with numerous titles and awards to his name. His girlfriend Ashley shared his passion, a true partner in every sense of the word both inside and outside of the gym.

After graduating from high school in 2003 Mario continued his education at UMass Boston and Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He was a member of the New England Carpenters Union and worked in the construction industry.

Mario's gentle but outgoing personality was a magnet for meeting new people which he thrived on. Anyone who knows him knew he was a generous and caring soul through and through.

Mario had a love of animals, both large and small, and one of his favorite volunteer jobs as a teenager was at the local animal shelter. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in his name and memory to the: Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1300 West Elm Street Extension, Brockton, MA 02301, www.apcsm.org.
