SEBAGO- Sherrill A. Douglass Sr., age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 16, 2017.
He was born in Sebago, Maine on Feb. 8, 1934, a child of the late Albion and Gertrude (Durrell) Douglass.
After attending Sebago schools and graduating from Potter Academy, Sherrill went on to work many different jobs overs years; however, carpentry was the trade he truly loved.
Sherrill was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and gardening.
He was a longtime member of the Sebago Church of the Nazarene.
He is predeceased by an infant who passed away at 7 weeks old – Garth Douglass, and a sister- Loann Douglass.
Sherrill is survived by his beloved wife- Sylvia (Smith) Douglass; a son- Sherrill Douglass Jr. and his wife Debbie of CA; step daughter- Nora Caruso and her husband Eric of MA; sister- Jean Garland and her husband Lew of Sebago; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday Sept 30, 2017 at 11 AM at the Sebago Church of the Nazarene, Rt. 114 in Sebago
