Donald Leon Merideth, 78, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Clarity Pointe ALF. Born in Forestville, Ky. he was a switchman for the L&N CSX Railroad with 30 years of service and an Army veteran. He enjoyed his hobbies of metal detecting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Frances Carolyn; sons, David and Michael; and daughter, Lori; step-children; Linda Quire (Dave) and Tony Faith; three grand-children; five step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren.
His funeral will be 12 p m Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 1 pm to 8 pm on Sunday.
