Ryan M. Trant, 24, of Franklin, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a long and courageous struggle with addiction.
Born in Boston on January 13, 1993, he was the son of Victoria M. (Trant) Almeida of Holliston and the late Howard Barter.
He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend Mikaela DeMaria of Milford, his son Tristan Trant, his twin brother TJ Trant and his fiancé Victoria Strand of Franklin, two sisters, Cassie Trant and Caitlyn Ingram, both of Holliston and his brother Howie Barter of Tewksbury.
He is also survived by his step-mom Sue Almeida of Holliston, his nephew TJ Trant, his aunt Justine Trant of Norwood, two uncles, Jay Trant of Hull and John Trant of New Hampshire and many cousin and friends.
Ryan was a resident of Franklin for the past 13 years and had formerly resided in Boston.
He had worked as a landscaper and drain technician.
Ryan loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends, especially his son, Tristan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, September 18 from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at 8 p.m.
