Robert T. "Bobby" Allen, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was 52 years old.
Bobby was born in Boston on September 28, 1964, a son of the late Harold T. Allen and Ellen M. (Casey) Allen. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1982 where he excelled in football and hockey. Bobby worked as a truck driver for several moving companies in the area for several years.
Bobby is the beloved husband of Kimberly (O'Brien) Allen. He is the devoted father of Robert T. Allen Jr., Nolan Allen and Kynadee Allen. He is the beloved brother of Mary Chiappa, Richard Allen, Harold "Sonny" Allen and his wife Brenda, John Allen and his wife Diane, Ellen Houlihan, William "Billy" Allen, Thomas Allen and his wife Kerri and the late Paul Allen. He is the loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bobby's Funeral on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. His burial is private. His visiting hours will be on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
