It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Lisa FunariLamb. She passed away Thursday September 14th at home surrounded by family and friends.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 35 years Stuart A. Lamb; daughter Ashley Lamb and husband Rory Chisholm; son Justin Lamb and wife Nicole Lamb; and grandchildren Rowan, Melanie, Angelina, and Kendall. She is also survived by her siblings Michael, Henry, and Mary Funari and all her beloved nieces and nephews. Lisa enjoyed the companionship of her dogs Allegra and Zack.
She graduated from Pulaski Senior High School and attended Tunxis Community College graduating with an Associates in Science. She was employed at Home Depot in Westerly, Rhode Island at the prodesk.
Lisa was a devout Christian and stood in faith with Living Word Fellowship of Voluntown,
Connecticut, where she and Stuart served as elders. Lisa loved volunteering with the Girl Scouts, gardening, reading, and going to the beach. She was passionate about music and Italian culture. She is best known for her warm and loving nature, outgoing personality and her home-made calzones.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday September 21 at Living Word Fellowship 512 Beach Pond Road Voluntown, Connecticut. 10 am calling hours followed by 11 am service with reception to follow at 1 p.m. at the Stonington Meadows 769 Stonington Road Stonington, Connecticut.
